     Marie Rollet was born in 1580 at Paris, Seine, France.1 She married Louis Hébert, son of Nicolas Hébert and Jacqueline Pajot, on 13 June 1602 at Ile De France, Paris, Seine, France.1 Marie Rollet quietly remarried Guillaume Hubou in 1629. After the three year occupation by the English, Champlain asks her to move to Quebec and Louis' house became an Indian youth hostel entrusted to the Jesuits for their education.2 In the years that followed, she took care of the European form at least two young Indian women , born around 1630 : the daughter of an Indian chief named Manitouabeouich and daughter Jean Nicolet was his first wife, an Algonquin from Lake Nipissing (an outgrowth to the northeast of the current Lake Huron , near Sturgeon Falls in Ontario ).2 Marie Rollet died on 27 May 1649 at Québec, Québec, Canada.1
